A salute to Winding Road Records

This consistantly great label established itself in 2002 with a barrage of great releases from the likes of label founders Schmoov! (which I had the pleasure of catching there amazing support act before Groove Armada some 10 years back) plus Lovebirds, Rhythm Plate, Hot Toddy, Ron Basejam, Vincenzo and Spirit Catcher to name a few. In my opinion, there 2002 effort "While You Wait" is still probably one of my favourite dance albums to date. Although labeling it just "dance" is probably an understatement. Here is a Schmoov! set posted on SC with some old favourites all thrown in by John Buckby and a limited download of one of my favourite tracks from one of their EP's from Vincenzo. Word around is there maybe some new material surfacing soon which is something well looking out for...
