A deep, smoothfunk groove for special evening listening from William Bell, which I'm sure was featured on a Mastercuts compilation. For those who may have stumbled upon this blog by accident, then your in for a treat with this. But for those who know, catch a piece of the groove action.

In my opinion, one of the best tracks these done while together, a top track from the Masterjam album. For me it's all about the background harmonies at the end of the track and great mid tempo groover. Here I've slightly extended it at the intro and end as for me, 3 and half mins is too short with this one. To download click divshare logo...
This is a personal favourite of mine which I've given a little reworking to, ommiting most of the vocal and smoothing out the already sublime groove. From the great 1986 album 'Zagora'.
Been a while since I've posted anything other than my own edits/reworks so thought I'd hit y'all up with something from almost 4 years ago which I've been re-listening over again on vinyl. This is my personal favourite from this EP from the great Hot Toddy on Winding Road.
A recent edit I done of "Don't Stop The Funk" by James Brown, posted over at the great, Feel My Bicep. Check out the track and the rest of the blog at the link below.
Unless your new to music blogs are just good music in general, you will hopefully be well aware of the site that is OOFT! This blog has been running for well over 2 years now and is home to The Revenge, 6th Borough Project and Ali Herron, responsible for some of the best underground house, downtempo and electronica beats released of late...
Check out Ali's recut of an SOS Band edit I did a little while ago over at their blog...It's a corker!!!
Edit/rework of the overlong dub version of the Willie Colon track. Utilizing the best elements for my own DJ use and adding the usual tweaks and shit...
A quite sublime edit of Juicy's "Sugar Free" from Leeds based geezer, Reset. Check it out below or download the WAV at the soundcloud link and see what else he's been up to...
A personal favourite of mine from, in my opinion, one of the best 70's era disco albums, "Time Is Slipping Away" by Dexter Wanzel which is 'I'll Never Forget (My Favourite Disco). Edited/stretched out the into/outro and removed some vocal. This was done for personal use with intention of playing at one of our events that got cancelled...
Edit of Woods Empire's 1981 soul funk number. Sure elements of this have been used/sampled in a previous production...but here's my version with the usual crude treatment...
Some electronic soulgroove seduction beats from Billy Griffin's 1983 LP, "Respect". Also used in an edit released last year on Jisco Music by Casinoboy, called Timerider. Download at the widget below...
Another personal edit I've decided to share. Just a dubbier rework of Futura's boogie funk number, 'Feelin' Hot'. Ive edited the vocal version from the vinyl rip..so has a few crackles & pops, omitting some vox and lengthened out the amazing bass funk groove with the usual tweaks...
40 Thieves wopping 11 minute electronic boogie megamix released on Rong Music a couple of years ago, condensed down here and edited/looped the first part of it to a more palatable 6 mins. This was done for my own personal use of playing out...
